MAIPk`s Entrepreneurship Seminar for Asnaf
Ipoh 21 to 23 April 2016 - Perak Islamic Religious Council and Malay Custom
(MAIPk) held a seminar on Entrepreneurship for Asnaf 2016 at Hotel Sri Malaysia.
A total of 51 participants attended the seminar where they will be chosen to follow the course of skills and incentives provided by the MAIPk.
The program was conducted through the "Projek Biz Pembangunan Pemerkasaan Ekonomi Asnaf" involving business projects on a small scale.
They will be given financial or equipment aid from MAIPk with an estimated value of RM 5,000.00 with training and monitoring for 6 months by MAIPk.
The purpose of the seminar was to provide exposure and to increase entrepreneurial knowledge to the poor and asnaf who want to or have been involved in business.
Through this entrepreneurship program they will have the opportunity to increase their income and help them out of poverty.
MAIPk provide guidance through the course of this seminar in collaboration with Koperasi Belia Islam Malaysia Berhad (KBI).
All asnaf have their own mentors to train and guide them on entrepreneurial knowledge.
During this occasion, MAIPk Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Amiruddin Bin Muhamed signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the KBI represented by its Chief Executive Officer, Azman Mohd Salleh.
